Ji-Sung Park ended his playing career back on May of 2014 as the South Korean retiree opted to hang up his boots after having lifted some of the biggest trophies in the world of football such as: UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup and the Premier League just to name a few of the more renowned pieces of silverware that Ji-Sung Park has collected throughout his playing career which spanned for over 13 years.
Now that Ji-Sung Park is no longer a player, he has recently embarked on a new journey as the South Korean retiree is aspiring to become a sports administrator and he has taken his first steps after enrolling in a course at De Montfort University in the U.K. to earn a Master’s degree.
“I wanted to improve my knowledge of football around the pitch and then perhaps work in the Korean football league. One of my colleagues said it had been a great experience and though many players go into coaching or management, I wanted to improve my knowledge of football around the pitch and then perhaps work in the South Korean football league.'” Park told De Montfort’s website on Wednesday as he talked about the course.
